Based in Utah. I've been drawing and writing for about six years now, ever since Mega Man NT Warrior hooked me as a kid watching it after school — never really let go of that one.
I've always had a thing about rules — specifically, media that doesn't follow its own. Pokémon's anime ignoring how the games actually work always bugged me more than it probably should have. At some point that turned into wanting to build something that did follow its own logic consistently, and that itch is basically how the original story started.

He was hunched over his floating holo-screen, frowning at a line of stubborn code. Tangled wires and old hardware cluttered his desk, standing in stark contrast to the sleek digital world outside. Posters of legendary NetBattlers covered the walls, their faded edges curling slightly with age.
Strapped to his belt was his P.E.T. — his Personal Terminal. Unlike most, Lan Hikari's wasn't standard-issue.
